How we handle your data. Short version: we collect as little as possible, analytics is off until you opt in, and we never sell your information.

1. Who we are
IndicatorEdge ("we," "us") operates this website. Questions about this policy or your data: hello@indicatoredge.com.
2. What we collect
Email address — only if you submit it to our optional email list.
Technical/server data — IP address and request metadata, used transiently for security and rate-limiting.
Analytics — if you consent to cookies, Google Analytics collects standard usage data (pages viewed, approximate region, device). Analytics is disabled until you accept.
Payment data — if we offer a paid tier, payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your full card details.
3. Cookies & analytics
We use a single optional analytics cookie set (Google Analytics 4) and only after you click “Accept” on our cookie notice. We default analytics and advertising consent to denied (Google Consent Mode). You can decline, and you can clear cookies or use browser/Google opt-out tools at any time.
We do not use cookies for advertising or to sell your data.
4. How we use data
To deliver content and the optional email report, to keep the site secure and functioning, and — with consent — to understand aggregate usage so we can improve. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
5. Service providers
We share limited data only with providers that help us operate: Google Analytics (analytics, with consent), Supabase (secure storage of email signups), Stripe (payments, if applicable), and our hosting/email infrastructure. Each processes data on our behalf.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, to opt out of analytics, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under California law. To make a request, email hello@indicatoredge.com.
7. Data retention
We keep email signups until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Transient server logs are kept only as long as needed for security. Analytics data is retained per Google’s default settings.
8. Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. International users
We operate from the United States; if you access the site from elsewhere, your data may be processed in the U.S. By using the site you consent to this transfer.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
11. Changes
We may update this policy; we will revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here.
